It is usually made of flexible graphite composite reinforcement plate, and is mainly used for flange connection of various pipes , valves , pumps , pressure vessels , heat exchangers , condensers , generators , air compressors , exhaust pipes , refrigerators, etc. The sealing part can replace asbestos rubber gasket and iron-clad gasket.
Performance characteristics: Good corrosion resistance, high / low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, good compression resilience and high strength. The required pretension force is smaller than that of metal gaskets and metal wound gaskets. The requirements are not high, and it is a relatively economical and practical gasket. If hemming is adopted, the excellent performance of the original graphite composite gasket can be maintained, and it is easy to install and disassemble, and is not easy to damage. At the same time, it can prevent the erosion of the gasket by the medium and oxygen in the outside air, which improves the temperature and pressure performance.
Structural form: The structure types of graphite composite gaskets are divided into RF type, MFM type and TG type, which are respectively suitable for protruding surface, concave and convex surface and tongue and groove surface flange. According to requirements, RF type gaskets can be equipped with stainless steel or carbon steel inner edging, that is, RF-E type.
